Poole & Swanage

Went down to Poole today, and then over to Swanage where we were lucky enough to happen upon the Swanage Folk Festival.
Morris Dancers from various areas had taken over the town and were performing in the streets! It’s not all docile hanky-waving, either — some of the sides were quite rowdy, with drums and shouts and hitting-sticks, like the group in this video!
We drove through The New Forest on the way home. (More info here. There were wild ponies everywhere!!
