4 litres of milk is a lot for one person to go through before it goes bad, so when I was still living back home, I used to freeze 2 of the 3 clear bags of milk, and defrost them in the fridge as needed. (It took 2 - 3 days to thaw out completely, if I remember right!)

I agree with you about the snipper things, I never quite got the hang of using them. Much easier with scissors!</description>

		<description>This was fun to read! I have been drinking milk from a bag for more than 20 years. Some people even freeze the bags of milk and thaw as needed. Milk stays fresh and never goes off. I have one of those snippers but they are not necessary. Kitchen shears do a better job. What I want now is a porcelain or stainless jug to hold the bag of milk instead of the plastic ones available everywhere.</description>
